French documentary of 2021 by Vincent Munier and Marie Amiguet.

"panthère des neiges" -> snow leopard

Vincent Munier, born in 1976 in the "Vosges" (a remote hilly part of East of France), is a world wide acclaimed wild life photographer. He's always been passionate about wildlife photography: as a child he spent hours in camouflage patiently waiting for deers and other animals. He's known for his aesthetics/artistic sense.

In 2015 he began tracking one of the most elusive animals, the snow leopard, which mainly lives in the highest parts of the Tibetian plateau. For his last expedition he invited a writer and a documentary film maker.

The movie is not "just" a wildlife documentary. It's more a documentary about an expedition, an adventure.

It's about a search for one self, how to push to the limits, literary disappear from the world and seeking for one the most difficult objective.

4 people crew, weeks of travel.

Beauty and meditative journey. Munier said:

Some people blame me for beautifying the animal world. But there are so many witnesses of the disaster! I'm after beauty, it's my duty and my way to defend it.
